Another finish..

One of Life's pleasures is finishing a quilt, here is my version of Kerry Gillespie's quilt called Life's pleasures and treasures, I made this quilt for Esme's, the quilt shop where I work, it will go on display and eventually I will get it back, this was such a fun project,

My son Jacob had his junior football grand final yesterday at Aurora stadium, all the team played so well, here he is getting his medallion, he was very proud and of course so was I. All kids were also given a McDonalds voucher so guess where we went on the way home..

A frosty start to the day

It was absolutely freezing this morning, the frost was so thick the grass was crunching under my feet. It turned into a nice day. Daniel and Nicky are both still sick so they stayed inside by the fire while I took Jacob to school, he tried to talk me into letting him have the day off but I never give in. I'm a tough mum. lol . When I went outside to take this photo the fish pond was frozen over, the fish didn't seem to care. I must say I am looking foreward to Spring.
